Dieses Buch ist super geeignet als Tea-Table-Buch. Es ist schön anzuschauen und man kommt ins Träumen und einfach mal auf andere Gedanken. Der Wunsch eines jeden Kindes ein eigenes Baumhaus. Vielleicht ist ja auch Ihr Traum-Baumhaus dabei.
Eine Überraschung nach der anderen! Sowohl die Formen als auch die "Platzwahl" gibt immer wieder Anlass zu Staunen.Mein Favorit: Das manchmal unsichtbare Spiegel-Baumhaus.
Dieses sehr ansprechend gestaltete und produzierte großformatige Buch bietet einen interessanten und vielfältigen Überblick über aktuelle Baumhäuser rund um die Welt. Ein Augenschmaus, bei dem auch die Information nicht zu kurz kommt.
Sehr aufwändig gestaltet, tolle Fotos und Bilder. Das Buch ist dreisprachig, es macht Spaß, darin zu blättern. Für alle Baumhausfans ein MUSS:

„Tree Houses - Baumhäuser“ ist ein Buch von Philip Jodidio, in dem der Autor 50 Baumhäuser und deren Architekten vorstellt. Das Buch besticht dabei durch seine gelungenen Fotos und ein modernes Layout. Die Texte sind auf Englisch, Deutsch und Französisch verfasst und eher knapp gehalten. Der Leser erfährt nur ein paar Eckdaten zu dem jeweiligen Haus, was manchmal etwas schade ist. Die Baumhäuser an sich sind zum Teil sehr spektakulär. Es gibt gemütliche Behausungen, stille Rückzugsorte, fantasievolle Spielhäuser für Kinder, zurückhaltende Teehäuser, Meditationsräume und zweckmäßige Hotels in luftiger Höhe. Der Stil reicht von spartanisch über rustikal bis hin zu modern. Auch reine Phantasiehäuser wie das Steampunk Baumhaus sind dabei.Mir persönlich gefallen die Bauten von Andreas Wenning (Baumraum) sehr gut.
Zuerst: der Einband und das Buch selbst ist schön und qualitativ hochwertig gearbeitet.Nun hatte ich aber erhofft, ein paar Anregungen für ein Baumhaus zu bekommen, dafür sind die Baumhäuser aber viel zu bombastisch und keines davon fände in einem Garten Platz.Noch mehr erhoffte ich mir, von den Bildern verzaubert zu werden und verwunschene, märchenhafte Häuser dazwischen zu entdecken. Die Häuser sind zum Großteil jedoch unerwartet modern und futuristisch. Das ist natürlich Geschmacksache. Meinen traf es nicht.In der Zeitschrift, in der ich davon Las, stand in dem Buch seien auch Bauanleitungen, was nicht der Fall war. Die Texte sind kurz und inhaltlich für mich nicht interessant gewesen.Das Buch war als Geschenk gedacht.Ich habe das Buch wieder zurück geschickt, weil es meine Erwartungen nicht erfüllt hat.
